Description
Durable polycarbonate forensic glasses have removable and interchangeable lenses for use in standard or dichroic configurations. These glasses offer 100% UV protection for inspections and forensic searches.
Dichroic configurations can be achieved by removing one of the lenses from the glasses and installing a second color into that available slot. Customize the lens colors with multiple configurations of yellow, orange or red lenses. The darker colored lens should be installed over the user's dominant eye.
The tint used on CS Eye® Glasses matches those of the CS Cam filters and can be used with FoxFury MF, HammerHead, Rook, and Scout Series forensic light sources. Not to be used with LED forensic laser systems and are not intended to be worn over prescription glasses.
- Yellow lenses: blocks wavelengths below 500nm to allow fluorescence to be seen. Used in general crime scene search and in searching for latent prints.
- Orange lenses: blocks wavelengths below 570nm to allow fluorescence to be seen. Used in general crime scene search and in searching for latent prints.
- Red lenses: blocks wavelengths below 610nm to allow fluorescence to be seen. Used in general crime scene search and in searching for latent prints.
- Interchangeable Lenses
Heavy-duty polycarbonate glasses have nylon frames and allow the user to easily remove and interchange different colored lenses as necessary.
- Dichroic Design
Dual lens colors are ideal for conducting faster, more accurate inspections in a variety of conditions and environments.
