The scout light is built with quality materials and seems very durable, it provides me with just enough illumination to see and be seen, I recommend this light to all first responders.

I have been trying to find a light to use on my radio strap for quite some time. This light was it, the clip is solid and helps keep it attached through one of the loops and keep it front facing. I put it to the test when we were called to an individual who had fallen outside of their home, far enough away from their home where back porch lights were ineffective. I was able to use my light as well as carry our monitor, airway bag, and full body vacuum splint and aided in finding our patient. It also proved worthy in helping light an area to establish an IV and kept myself hands free to assist with other things. It’s also slim enough that I don’t notice it when it’s underneath my turnout coat.

I bought it with the intentions of putting it on my radio strap. I wasn’t sure whether it would fit underneath my gear when it needed to or if I would have to take it off. It fits great under my gear, great for a small bright light for med calls, and very handy to have hands free when I’m on the pump panel or setting up tools.

Pretty good product. Purchased at the EMS World Expo in New Orleans. It would be a lot better if you included a magnetic base plate and a magnet on the outside portion of the clip. This would make the light a lot more useful. Just my two cents

Live these as a paramedic and adventurer. They take a beating on the job, on the hike or for added visibility when riding my bike. I use it ocean kayaking as well. Very reliable and visible in all weather. As a Ranger at Burning Man, it really helps to see and be seen
