Events and Disaster Response at CUPIC Campus Security Conference

***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***
FoxFury LLC, Vista, CA. July 30, 2013
FoxFury Exhibiting LED Area Lights for Events and Disaster Response at CUPIC Campus Security Conference

FoxFury Lighting Solutions will display its portable, rechargeable Nomad LED area lights at the College and University Police and Investigators Conference (CUPIC) from August 6-8 in Fairfax, VA. The Nomad area lights and spotlights assist campus security with checking IDs, lighting hard to reach places and in blackout situations.

Campus security is a 24/7/365 job that keeps campuses safe. Campuses are expansive and many campus classes, activities and events take place at night. FoxFury offers dependable scene lighting that assists campus security at checkpoints, special events (including concerts, football and basketball games), power outages and incident command centers. The Nomad family of Area-Spot lights is valuable in checking identification, illuminating hard to see and reach places and in responding to threats like severe weather.

As Area-Spot lights, the Nomads can convert from area lights to spot lights in seconds. These self-contained, all-weather lights are powered via a rechargeable Li-ion battery system, which provides up to 24 hours of light. A battery indicator helps the user know the battery level.

One of the greatest assets of the Nomad lights is that they require no generators to run. This means silent operation, no cords, no harmful gases released and no limitations as to where the light can go. The Nomads can therefore travel into remote areas and dimly lit corners of a campus and provide instant lighting so that campus law enforcement can respond.

FoxFury will showcase the following Nomad lights at CUPIC:
  • Nomad NOW: 2,500 lumen lantern Area-Spot (120? area light and 12? spotlight)
  • Nomad Prime: 4,000 lumen Area-Spot (120? area light and 8? spotlight)
  • Nomad 360: 7,000 lumen scene light (360? scene light, 120? area light and 12? spotlight)
"Our Nomad lights help campus security to see and be hands-free. They enable faster illumination and response at events to better serve and protect students and faculty," said Antonio Cugini, VP of Law Enforcement Sales for FoxFury.

The exhibition portion of the CUPIC Conference runs August 6-8 in Fairfax, VA. This conference is put on by the George Mason University PD.
