Command 20 Tactical I purchased Command 20 Tactical Headlamp for occasional/emergency outdoor use. However, I have found an unexpected use that is far more valuable to me. I have two poodles which need biweekly ear maintenance (cleaning and plucking of ear hairs). I always found this difficult because I cannot see easily into their ear canals. The soft but strong light that comes from your headlamp has made it FAR easier to do this uncomfortable task because the glare-free light fully illuminates but does not decrease contract. Excellent! I am also inpressed with the quality of the construction and the comfort. Thanks for making a great product with great service! Edward |
Performance Tactical The FoxFury headlamp is a fine tool I have used to provide hands free lighting in a variety of difficult lighting situations in and around my home. For example, my wife and I heard a dripping sound in our ceiling one night. At 2am I found myself crawling through our unlit attic space in search of the dripping water. An ice dam had created a roof leak that I quickly found with the light from my FoxFury. I often use the Headlamp while working on my motorcycle to augment
the meager lighting of my garage. My wife uses the FoxFury light while quilting to provide the necessary lighting for the complex piecing of her complicated quilting projects. Well I'm an aircraft mechanic and 99% of the time 2 hands are needed. With your light now working at night is so much easier. The neck is no longer sore from trying to hold a flashlight. Your light illuminates the entire work area instead of just a spot. I have had other mechanics borrow the light and they love it also and will soon be part of their toolbox also. Chris |

Performance Tactical I used these on a
Search &
Rescue training exercise recently and was amazed at the coverage
and depth of field that I had at night…Very good
product. Hopefully as more team members are exposed to
them in the future, they will jump on board and buy a set. |
Pro Work The beam is really powerful. You feel
reasonably safe, too, as motorists can see when you're out there
at night. |

Our Search & Rescue
Team had an end of year winter/snow backpack and I, using your
FoxFury, backpacked from 11 p.m. one night until 7 a.m. the
next morning, all the while wearing/using the FoxFury. The
first 4-cell battery pack lasted about 6 hrs. The amount of
light it put out was awesome, basically lighting up the entire
trail from my team of 6 searchers. |

This headlamp has now performed flawlessly three consecutive
times. The most recent; a highly dangerous situation where
ample light produced by the FoxFury allowed me to effect repairs
to the main circuit panel in a building where a major electrical
power failure had occurred. |

We're passing a couple around at work. Nice lights.
The LEDs are not Luxeons so the light is not particularly blinding
but it gets the job done. The dimming function works well.
It's light and comfortable when the battery pack is removed
from the headband and placed in the pocket. I like the potential
of the design. For a headlamp, I like the broad beam much better
than a spot. A lot less neck movement required. With an up
down swivel capability and as LED technology improves, this
company could really make some kick butt headlamps. |
