GENERAL (Multiple Lights Used)
"Many times we would find ourselves searching for small components misplaced at camp. In a racing scenario every second counts. FoxFury products lived up to their reputation, providing us with dependable, super powerful lighting solutions. This enabled us to significantly cut down on our time searching in the dark, ultimately bringing us one step closer to the 2008 National Championships"
Kristine Cramer, UMsolar Mechanical Engineer 2008
"FoxFury's lighting products were a perfect compliment to our "not messing around" style of Solar Car racing. Whether we're battling a sandstorm in the middle of the Australian Outback or thunderstorms in tornado alley, we don't have time for weak flashlights that die or break under pressure. FoxFury turned night repairs into day repairs when failure was not an option."
Chris Hammond, UMsolar Lead Power Electrical Engineering 2007-2009
"Foxfury headlamps were exactly what we needed: they fit nicely on our heads, keeping our hands free and are extremely durable."
Alex Dowling, UMsolar Head Strategist 2008-2009
“Most of the folks in my department use the disposable flashlights on their helmets. As with anything else in this business, there is a great deal of tradition that often gets in the way of progress. Too bad for them.
A few other others of the Fire Inspectors I work with also use the Performance Fire Fighter headlamp and they all love them. I now use the PRO III head lamp on my structure helmet for fire investigations and I have the Performance model on my lighter helmet for routine inspections – they both work very well.”
Eric Major, Fire Inspector Santa Rosa FD (CA)
COMMAND 10 FIRE
My headlamp works great. I can see and rest the rest interior firefighters can see me.
Jacquie R. Salisbury Volunteer Ambulance (CT)
COMMAND 20 FIRE
"I first saw your company at a trade show in San Diego about 5 years ago, and bought one of the first headlamp models that had came out. Ever since, I have had lots of comments on its design and function. I recently bought another new headlamp after the Command series was released.
I believe FoxFury has the best designs and functions of any other model on the market, and I have come to depend on them and use them regularly. Thanks again for your products. Thanks and here is a recent photo of your product in action at a meth lab."
David Rea, Kern County Fire Department (CA)
"Outstanding product. This is per our members using the Command 20 FoxFury light. Other departments have asked us about the command 20 and commented on how bright they are and how well they work."
Lt. Bruce B. Rib Mountain FD (WI)
"The head lamp is working great, I have had the opportunity to use it in extensively in suppression duties as well as several MVA related calls.
Our Rescue Driver at the station purchased a Command 20 also, whenever we show up at drill people want to check out the lights, most are impressed with its intense discharge and all are impressed with the safety light on the battery pack.
The light sits evenly on the helmet (as opposed to my old light which gave a slight tilt to the helmet as it was just a flashlight with a mount), its 3 discharge settings are great, because the only complaint I have heard is that its too bright! Thanks again for making such a great product!"
Malac G., Firefighter/Paramedic Central Pierce Fire & Rescue (WA)
I am happy that I bought the command 20 light. It has served me well. The illumination I get out of the LEDs are great. No other light I have compares to it. I’ve used it in training and on different calls and it hasn’t failed me yet. There are a few people in my department who already use them as well. Most people who have seen me use the command light are amazed at how bright it is. Once again I am happy that I bought this light and may consider getting a second one in the near future.
Angel S. Stafford, VA
COMMAND 20 WILDLAND FIRE
"We have been using FoxFury for over a year now and would highly recommend these headlamps for anyone who runs a wildland fire handcrew. We use the Performance Series for our saws and the Command Series for our firefighters. The difference between what we used before (standard headlamp)and the FoxFury is literally night and day. Our main factors for going with FoxFury after testing was : 1)Brightness, 2)Unbelievable peripheral view, 3) Light weight."
Jim H., USFS Laguna Hotshots (CA)
COMMAND 20 TASKER / TASKER S
"I bought the light not for regular use but for life-saving use. We have hurricanes in the Pacific and when one hits, my job requires me to be in the command center at the airport. The Command 20 is the primary light source for my family to escape out of the deep valley where we live. Your light will save and protect my family. I installed lithium batteries for long life. I trust your light to function perfectly after the hurricane passes. Thanks." Rob Juba Honolulu, HI
"I just wanted to write to tell you guys how AWESOME the headlamps are. I attached a small image a friend took while a bunch of us went exploring in the Ape Caves at Mount St Helens. Everyone else has standard headlamps - I have yours on, as I'm sure you can pick out. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how well it worked in total darkness. We did some experiments turning the FoxFury one off and back on again, and the difference was incredible. It was definitely a much appreciated and useful tool in the more intense areas of the caves. So yea, great product - rock on!"
Cindy Ormondroyd, NY
"I purchased Command 20 Tactical Headlamp for occasional/emergency outdoor use. However, I have found an unexpected use that is far more valuable to me. I have two poodles which need biweekly ear maintenance (cleaning and plucking of ear hairs). I always found this difficult because I cannot see easily into their ear canals. The soft but strong light that comes from your headlamp has made it FAR easier to do this uncomfortable task because the glare-free light fully illuminates but does not decrease contract. Excellent!
I am also impressed with the quality of the construction and the comfort.
Thanks for making a great product with great service!"
Edward Trumbull, CT
"The lights are great. Very bright. And the rear red light is good too. One thing I noticed is that some of the light comes straight down to light up my body, while most of the beam heads out to light up what I'm aiming at. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but that's a great feature. You can both see and be seen with one light."
Dave M. Mt. Hood Ski Patrol, Portland, OR
"The Command 20 Tasker Headlamp helps me see the paint imperfections during a paint correction detail. This Headlamp luminates the areas where the polisher is working."
David Y. VEPA Pleasanton, CA
"Go ahead and spend the money on a headlamp somewhere else, but you'll be sorry. I'll sell you all the ones we purchased before we got our FoxFury Tasker S's."
Eddy Weiss, Director, Chasing4Life
"The runtime on the FoxFury is awesome !! The availability of common AA batteries is a plus as well. The design profile of the FoxFury is absolutely perfect for hardhat wearers. I haven't been on a large construction project since receiving the headlamp from you but even on the smaller jobsites my headlamp is getting attention from other trades. The headlamps being used my most construction workers are very cheap and have the "angry" blue output which is terrible for deciphering true colors in the field, which is a MUST for my line of work. I will try to get you some beamshots on the next jobsite. BIG thumbs up to FoxFury engineers and design team !!" Bryan L. Advanced Technology Consultants
"My initial call to go to Haiti was only 10 days prior to departure. The team I travelled with was new to me andI was unsure of what the conditions were really going to be like. I only could imagine what I was going to experience when I landed in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
From the first 5 minutes through the door of Hopital Adventiste d'Haiti the action begun. Myself and our team Doctor were rushed to the operating room to help with a emergency c-section and take care of the 30 week premature baby that was imminently delivering. In the U.S. this delivery would have a team of Neonatal specialists and 50 people to ensure the babies' well-being but not in Haiti. Just a few brave E.R. nurses a Critical Care Adult Doctor and me a Team Paramedic!
After the initial excitement of the childbirth we were given a orientation of the facility and their standard operating procedures. One of these in fact was to keep your "HEADLAMP" close because the power goes out regularly! She wasn't kidding! That same night our crew had the night shift in the Emergency Room and I was eager to deploy my new Foxfury headlamp.
After finding and way to incorporate it into my other belt mounted medical gear, I was set. I was charged with the responsibility to take care of the 30 week old premature baby we had delivered earlier and set up a makeshift incubator and proceded to care for the child. All of a sudden, Poof! out goes the power. I quickly donned my Foxfury headlamp and switched it on and it lit up the room!
I looked around in the crowd and noticed several others were still fussing with their version of a headlamp, some were blinking some were different colors some wouldn't work. I was perfect! I went back to caring for our baby without hesitation.
Throughout the week I practically wore the headlamp everywhere I went after dark. I frequently used the headlamp in the Operating Room. And certainly traveling between buildings of the hospital. Many of the folks wanted to try the headlamp for themselves so I traded it around a bit and gave everyone some time with the Foxfury.
Upon departure, I offered up my light to a well reputed Orthopedic Surgeon that was using a different headlamp on every surgery, day or night to assist in lighting up his field of view. He had light envy! I knew I wanted to leave the light with someone who could do great things while using it. So I did. The light will be handed down from person to person at the Hopital Adventiste d'Haiti and keep the darkness Bright! Thanks again."
Jordan O., EMT-P, Bass Lake Fire Department (CA)
DISCOVER TASKER-FIRE
“Man I wish I had one of these fancy Discovers back in my day but FoxFury wasn’t around until 75 million years later. As I got older, my eyesight got bad and my distance vision declined. When you’re 20 feet tall, you can’t afford bad eyesight and I was always bumping my head on giant branches and stepping on raptor manure because I couldn’t see it coming. I’d have taken down a lot more Anatotitans and Triceratops if I could have had the 100 lumen Discover on my head. My short and stubby little hands would have been free to tear flesh and pick bones out of my banana sized teeth."
Terry “the Carcass Maker” T-rex
NOMAD 3600
"The Nomad lights have proved to be very useful. They are small enough to easily fit three in the collision Investigation car. Quick and easy to put up, and on lowest power last for several hours. The light is consistent and well balanced for digital photography. The units are very robust and have performed well in snow and heavy rain. We have seen considerable cost savings, as we have been able to light small crash scenes using just the Nomads, rather than call out our full flood-lighting vehicle and trailer, which requires two officers to operate."
Simon Edwards, Collision Investigation Unit, Gloucestershire Constabulary
"We have had our Nomad out in some pretty harsh conditions already, have dropped it twice, had to scrape mud out of it, used it in high wind and can honestly say there is no explanation for EVER buying a different light. For scene work, command posts, searches and even equipment maintenance, this is the one light every agency needs to have." Brandi Hodgen, Chasing4Life Disaster Response Team Lead
"When CFM first came to us to demonstrate the FoxFury Nomad we expected it would be of a good quality but now we have them in force we have been amazed at how good they really are. Their rapid deployment, robustness and powerful illumination are great attributes when first arriving at a remote rural scene. Their portable design has eliminated many storage problems and removed unwanted cabling and battery packs. The simple, easy deployment method enables us to react immediately and not waste effort and time trying to deploy a lighting solution before we can safely begin work. We actively use the FoxFury in many of our specialist operations."
CBRN Unit, Humberside Police
PERFORMANCE BIKE SYSTEM
"We rode with the lights twice in the last several days. A night ride with our club and the last 20 miles of the Solvang double century. There was quite a bit of interest in the lights, especially on the Solvang ride where at least 100 people saw them in action as we descended through a canyon in the dark on a nasty potholed road. Our field of vision was better so we could move much faster through the hazards at 25-30mph. We have newer style road helmets and the lights easily strap to them. It does require extending the regular strap. I used a standard Velcro pump strap and it works great. Overall the lights worked great aside from blinding other people but they were still happy to be behind us going down the road.
We have now ridden next to other cyclists with just about every other light available. Nothing else comes close to creating the field of vision your lights do. You see guys with straight lights weaving around as they try to get some light on the shoulder. Had an encounter like this last Saturday when six pigs that came out of the trees and onto the road about dusk. I was on a fairly steep decent so it created an exciting moment for both me and the pigs.
Another thing I forgot to mention is the lights cause quite a reaction as almost everyone, including cars, slow down and stare trying to figure out what the lights are. Cars coming the opposite direction are especially prone to rubbernecking. Who knows, maybe you'll make the cover of a grocery store tabloid."
Steve Milpitas, CA
PERFORMANCE FIRE
"Well, I have had the light on my helmet for a little over a month now...and it is awesome. To have light right where I am looking without having to direct a handheld light or one that is hanging on my coat is great. I have since removed the right angle light that I have always had on my coat which makes my coat much lighter and less bulky. It is easier to crawl and carry other tools now.
I decided to write to you now because I have now had a chance to use it in an interior search in a two-story single family house fire with reports or two children still inside. My officer on the truck has another FoxFury model on his helmet, so we both were able to keep track of each other from a greater distance than normal, because of the amount of light that it puts out.
Visibility was zero because of the heavy smoke and heat, but the light held up to heat that eventually drove us out of the bedroom and down stairs. It was unbelievably hot! The light lens was blackened, but cleaned up with some soap and water.
I am extremely happy with my light and have had several people say they were going to look into one now that they have seen me and my officer both using them. Thanks for the greatest light I've used."
Kim Springfield Fire Department (VA)
"I began my search for a new lighting system aftern another house fire when, yet again, my dash-mounted rechargeable light faded to nothing inside a of a couple minutes. I was done with conventional lights. I found and purchased the Performance FF edition and have been TOTALLY impressed ever since!!! I have been on numerous working fires and MVA's where this light kicked A#$%! Nothing compares to the light it produces...nothing. As a Truck Co. officer I viwe this as essential equipment for keeping an eye on my interior guys while on the job. The LEDs light up the reflective trim on turnout gear like an exposion of neon...even through smoke. I was cautious about adding additional weight to an already hefty Houston N6A but the battery pack and lamp were balanced so its weight is not noticeable. Also, its large on/off button can be accessed easily with a gloved hand and resists debris build yp. Thanks for making such a great product! As you can see in the picture, my lid sits on the dash nect to the "other light"...I'll never use it again."
Lt. Dan H., Winter Park Fire Rescue (FL)
The FoxFury Performance Fire headlamp has been a tremendous asset when conducting fire calls during evening hours; especially fire calls involving vehicle accidents. Although I can't show you photos from actual on scene emergencies, I can definitely state that having extra lighting while utilizing hand tools at night made my job performance more effective.
More importantly, a hands-free tool. Most firefighters wedge a hand-held flashlight into their armpit or have someone else hold a flashlight while they work.
As you can see in this photo, everything that I work around in front of me is illuminated, bright and visible as I perform extrication during a training drill. What I've noticed as a safety precaution when out on a vehicle accident during the late evenings is that I am visible to oncoming drivers on the roads and highways.
I am very pleased and satisfied with your product. Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to show-off your product and how effective this fire tool can be while out on fire calls.
Kent R. Firefighter EMT South Monterey County Fire Protection Department
"I LOVE my FoxFury headlamp. It cuts through smoke like a hot knife through butter. Everyone on my department and surrounding departments have commented on my headlamp. “That is a sweet light. Where did you get it?” The chief has even talked about getting some of the headlamps for our extrication team. Thanks again for the amazing product." Blake F. Fremont FD (NC)

"I enjoy the light very much. It makes a big difference in being able to see and not being able to see. I really like the fact that where ever I look I can see verses having to stop and use my hands to point a light in a certain direction. It makes it much easier to work inside a Structure Fire, at an MVC during the night or Medical calls when needed.
Just recently I worked an MVC where a driver had ran from the scene and laid down in the woods where there was no lighting. While treating this patient I had accidentally turned the light off and then I couldn't see as good, even with other flash lights around.
I have received several comments about it and heard several people say they were interested in getting one. I have attached a picture of me at a structure fire with my light on. I was very impressed when I saw this picture myself. Thanks!"
Joshua L. Granbury VFD (TX)
“So far so good! 13 major fires and still going strong!” Kelly F. Frostburg Fire Rescue Department (MD)
"I have put my headlamp on my fire helmet instead of my search helmet. And I have never been more happy with it. I’ve had a number of co-workers ask and buy them." Jason R. Firefighter/Paramedic Clark County FD (NV)
"I put the FoxFury light (Performance Fire) on my helmet when we got back from San Diego. One week ago, we did have a fire that I was able to use it on. It did cut through the smoke and fog really well. I liked the broad beam on it. I have decided that it is the best headlamp I have ever purchased. So far, I feel that I have really gotten my money's worth out of it."
Chris Paradise Fire Department (CA)
PERFORMANCE OUTDOOR
"I wanted to express my satisfaction about my FoxFury Performance headlamp. I use it specifically to do sport at night like snowshoeing and cross country skiing. I have such good vision with the headlight that I will never come back to others. The wide and powerful intensity is great and very convenient to my sports and also around the house. Thanks."
Paul L. Matapedia, Quebec (Canada)
"I snow shoe as an winter sport. My FoxFury added has a new dimension to the snow shoe. I am now able to run safely with the extended viewing area. There is plenty of vision area. It is great addition to your backpack for winter events. Here is a picture." Les G. Milan, NM
"FoxFury headlamps gave us the peripheral vision that we needed to feel safe traveling at high speeds over rough terrain during the night. One run in with barbed wire or power lines could have been tragic, but their green LED technology gave us amazing depth perception, and their smart circuitry allowed us to only carry one set of batteries for the entire 12 day trip!"
Jason M. Adventure Racer
"We were really impressed with the quality of the FoxFury headlamps. In an environment where we lost 8 hours of sunlight in 21 days, we were lucky to be able to rely on the FoxFury headlamps to keep us going during the approaching wintertime. The FoxFury lights never let us down, and we had excellent results.
We used the Performance Series Outdoor. We needed a headlamp that was durable, reliable and gave us good vision at night. We camped among many predators such as grizzly bears and wolves. The Performance Series, with a range up to 150 feet allowed us to stay vigilant at night. Thanks to the LED technology we never worried about running out of batteries throughout the duration of the trip.
I will highly recommend the FoxFury headlights to any outdoor enthusiast that is planning a trip in the water or mountain environment. We will certainly use them again."
Pietro S. Across the Atlas Adventure Racing Team
PERFORMANCE TASKER
Love the light and have told all our technicians about it. It meets our needs as school bus technicians, in that it totally lights up an area under the buses that we are working on. Thank you for a great product. You can expect many more orders from the company that I work for.
Steve H. Pendleton, OR
Well I'm an aircraft mechanic and 99% of the time 2 hands are needed. With your light now working at night is so much easier. The neck is no longer sore from trying to hold a flashlight. Your light illuminates the entire work area instead of just a spot. I have had other mechanics borrow the light and they love it also and will soon be part of their toolbox also.
Chris Glencoe, MN
PERFORMANCE WATER
I am handicapped in a wheelchair. This light is really useful because you can see and still fish with both hands. You can see what you need to do with your hands, such as tying on hooks and taking off fish. Also, you do not have the glare with this light that you have with just white lights.
Christine NAFC Field Test Evaluation Morganton, NC
I love this light. It lights up the whole area. I could see everything at night without a glare on the water, which is perfect for fishing. I would recommend that everyone should have one on their boat or campsite. It blows the competition out of the water. I could see very clear at night. The light also works great on trails for other outdoor activities.
Michael NAFC Field Test Evaluation Mesquite, TX
PRO SHIELD LIGHTS
The shield light worked great. It was very easy to mount. The mounting system held the light and battery pack in place during multiple, full power shield strikes on heavy bags. The light absolutely floods rooms and as the bad guy on several of the training hits, it is impossible to look at the light in a dark room. The pressure pad worked better on fixed handles than it did on floppy handles. (Like the new M.U.S.T. shield.)
Bill B. Tap Rack Tactical
PRO TASKER-FIRE
The lights are doing great! I took them down to the beach for shrimping and crabbing and they worked great, just like I needed them to do! I use them around the house for changing oil, cleaning the pool when it gets dark on me and other jobs where I need light and also need my hands free.
Chad High Point, NC
ROOK CHECKMATE
I was first to come across a pre-dawn MVA that blocked two north bound traffic lanes. Both vehicles were extensively damaged with no working lights making it nearly impossible to see them in the middle of the road. Witnesses were running from a nearby store to assist the injured. Knowing I needed to slow down rush hour traffic to prevent additional accidents, I grabbed my FoxFury Rook flashlight I had recently purchased from MEDTECH Forensics, engaged the strobe feature, and held it in the direction of on-coming traffic. Drivers in the distance immediately began slowing their vehicles and merging to the center lane. Barely the size of my hand, the Rook was brilliant and helped prevent additional collisions. People 1 mile away were responding to my signal and no one else got hurt. As a former Special Agent and EMT, and avid outdoorsman, I appreciate compact, brilliant and dependable lights. In this case my FoxFury light was a life-saver!
Dave P. MFS, VSM, FBI National Academy Fayetteville, NC
SCOUT TAC-WATER
This is a great light, not only for just fishing, but hunting, working on vehicles, boats, emergencies and many in-the-dark tasks. It has great brightness and is very simple to operate. I would recommend it to everyone I know. Thanks for the product and I will definitely keep it in reach.
Elias NAFC Field Test Evaluation Corpus Christi, TX
SCOUT TASKER-FIRE
As a handyman, I am constantly in small dark places ssuch as closes, under bathrooms and kitchen sinks and behind toilets, often with the room lights out. The Scout Tasker-Fire light really lights up all those places, and allows me to get the job done. I can hang the light anywhere I need to because of it’s small size. It gives off enough light to clearly. I just ordered one for my friend. Good job FoxFury.

TX-0 SPECIAL OPS HELMET LIGHT
Here is a picture of your TX-0 light in use at Medi-Flight in Modesto, CA. These lights are mounted on the flight helmets of the medical crew members for use during patient care procedures or during flight operations and accident scenes. Really a great product. We’ve been really happy with the craftsmanship and utility. Steve C., RN Medi-Flight of Northern California
TX-1 SPECIAL OPS HELMET LIGHT
Here is a picture of your TX-1 light in use at Medi-Flight in Modesto, CA. These lights are mounted on the flight helmets of the medical crew members for use during patient care procedures or during flight operations and accident scenes. Really a great product. We’ve been really happy with the craftsmanship and utility.
Steve C., RN Medi-Flight of Northern California
So Foxfury came up with the TX-1 Helmet Light. While it may not be built with the durability and functionality of the SF one, it is durable in it's own right, and does the basic job of providing head-mounted, hands free lighting (Note: while the web-site states that it will fit the MICH or ACH Helmet, it will indeed fit the PASGT Helmet...as seen in the photo). It is "water-proof" and will survive being rained on if properly maintained, and is, for all intents and purposes, a "military helmet light".
It has a black, "soft" plastic (not rubber though) case, and so, is more resilent to cracking, and cold damage. I taped off the lens and painted it OD to make it more subdued and blend in with the WC pattern on my helmet cover. It can be used alone for map reading/security checks, and navigation in a dark building, but lacks throw...and has an effective range (IMHO) of about 20ft., so you'll still need to pack an extra tac-light.
The best part about this though is the price tag...at $25 and some change, this is an affordable and well made helmet light, that will serve it's purpose. It has 3, 1-stage LED's, that are easily activated by the push button switch on the side, and has a "break-away" function that will release the lamp assy. from the helmet attachment point. and swivels both vertically and horizontally to get the light right where you need it. The ONLY problem I noticed, was that in the cold, the switch didn't want to always actviate, and it would "flicker" while trying to get it to turn, on but it would.

TX-2 CLIP LIGHT
"The TX-2 was more than helpful. It let me do my job in low light conditions hands-free and with light discipline. The TX-2 was mainly used for close quarters work. However, it did serve as a perfect light to cover my patient’s whole body. My partner was dressing a leg while I gave CPR and we both were able to see fine."
